Terms of Service

Last updated: July 18, 2026

Plain-language summary provided for transparency. It is general information, not legal advice, and is being finalized with counsel.

Tire Shop Bench is operated by SuiteThink Inc. (“we,” “us”), a company based in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada. By accessing or using Tire Shop Bench (the “Service”), you agree to these Terms.

1. Eligibility & accounts

The Service is intended for business use by adults (18+). Accounts use passwordless magic-link sign-in; you’re responsible for the security of your inbox and for keeping your information accurate. One account per person/business.

2. The directory & listings

Our directory includes business listings compiled from publicly available sources (e.g., OpenStreetMap and businesses’ own published websites). A business may claim and edit its listing after verifying ownership by email. If you edit a listing, you represent that the information is accurate and that you’re authorized to provide it.

We may edit, decline, or remove any listing at our discretion: for inaccuracy, a valid complaint, or legal reasons. To claim, correct, or request removal of a listing, contact us (below); we act on reasonable requests promptly.

Rankings are never for sale. Organic directory ordering is determined by objective criteria and editorial judgment only. Any featured or sponsored placement is separately paid and clearly labelled as such. It does not buy a higher organic rank or an endorsement.

3. Content & guidance

Our guides, newsletter, and tools are general information for independent tire shop owners: not professional, legal, tax, or financial advice. Requirements (codes, licensing, refrigerant/tax rules, incentive programs) vary by jurisdiction and change; verify against current official sources and qualified professionals before acting.

4. Content you submit

When you submit or edit content (listings, classifieds, testimonials, reviews, messages), you grant us a worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive license to host, display, and adapt it to operate and promote the Service. You warrant that your content is accurate and doesn’t infringe anyone’s rights. Don’t submit anything unlawful, misleading, or that you don’t have the right to share.

5. Acceptable use

Don’t: scrape or bulk-harvest the Service; send spam through it; upload malware; attempt to breach security or access other users’ data; misrepresent your identity or authority; or use the Service for anything illegal.

6. Payments

Paid features (e.g., sponsorships or featured listings) are processed by Stripe; we don’t store full card details. Fees, billing, and any refund terms are presented at purchase. Failure to pay may result in removal of the paid feature.

7. Copyright / DMCA

We respect intellectual property. If you believe content on the Service infringes your copyright, send a notice with the required details (identification of the work and the material, your contact info, a good-faith statement, and your signature) to legal@tireshopbench.com. We’ll respond, including removing infringing material and honoring counter-notice rights where applicable.

8. No warranty; limitation of liability

The Service is provided “as is,” without warranties of any kind. We don’t guarantee the accuracy of listings or content and don’t endorse listed businesses. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we’re not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, and our total liability is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim (or, if nothing, a nominal amount). Nothing here limits liability that can’t be limited by law.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts or listings for breach of these Terms, non-payment, valid complaints, or at our discretion. Provisions that by their nature should survive (licenses, disclaimers, limitations, governing law) survive termination.

10. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify us against claims arising from your content or your use of the Service in breach of these Terms.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Nova Scotia and the federal laws of Canada applicable there, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. The courts of Halifax, Nova Scotia have jurisdiction, subject to any mandatory consumer-protection rights in your location.

12. Changes & contact

We may update these Terms and will post a new “last updated” date. Questions: hello@tireshopbench.com. See also our Privacy Policy, Affiliate Disclosure, and Accessibility Statement.
